Writing and publishing a book takes an enormous amount of time and effort. So often do I work with authors who focused so much on the publishing milestone that they missed out on enormous opportunities for marketing and awards. As a result, the fanfare of their launch quickly fizzles out, and they are left wondering what all that hard work was for.
That is not what I want for talented authors like yourself. Thus, I undertook an audacious effort to create a course that spans the entirety of the publishing process. This is not a course that teaches you to write. This is a course that teaches you to organize, market, and leverage your talent to great success, both for your book and for yourself. It's a course that can't be completed until a book has been on the market for 6mo+.
People told me I was crazy to make a course like this. I told them authors NEED this information years before they launch their books. So here we are. This course will prepare you to market and sell your book just like an entrepreneur markets and sells a product.
In this course, you'll learn how to:
- Build a business plan for your book
- Reach out to agents and publishers
- Build your team of cheerleaders before you launch
- Organize beta readers to strengthen your manuscript
- Get book awards
- Organize a book tour
and more!
Why You Need This Course
There are several prominent myths about publishing that are holding back writers. You've worked too hard to let your book languish in the shadows!
Myth #1: A publisher will market the book for you.
Today, publishers don't provide much marketing support for you or your book. You'll receive materials, and the rest is often up to you. That's why the first step in this course is to develop your business, marketing, and niche plans!
Myth #2: You'll get a book tour as a published author.
Sadly, most publishers and agents don't want to manage a book tour for their authors (unless you're Stephen King). They're just not lucrative enough. In this course, we'll discuss why you might want to consider a book tour, how to determine break-even for YOUR target market, and how to organize it all.
Myth #3: Self-publishing is a last resort.
In fact, self-publishing is a great first step into the publishing world. There are many prominent books (and films!) that started as self-published works. However, you must be on your A-Game to market and promote the book as a self-published author and entrepreneur.
"[This course gave me the] whole picture. Love the market research plus beta readers, and the street team ideas. Love the live links to useful resources."

Your Instructor
Hi. I'm Veronica. I'm an award-winning entrepreneur and an award-winning author. I have published anthropological studies, how-tos, poetry, and short stories.
In 2015 I published my now award winning book Stories of Elders, an anthropological study of the paradigm shift of the high-tech revolution through the lens of those that lived its entirety.
I have since given two TEDx Talks about my books and am completing yet another. I wouldn't have had such success, however, without my background in entrepreneurship, including sales, marketing, and networking.
Today I coach other entrepreneurs and authors to build their own empires. I've had clients be recognized by Beyonce, on the Today Show, given government recognition, and more. I want that for you.
